Saludos

Assist with morning drop-off by waving cars through drop-off zones and moving students along. Saludos assignments rotate weekly by grade. Plan ahead and sign up for your child's designated week.

Power Hour and Green Team

Power Hour: Complete organizing and prep tasks for teachers every other Wednesday morning.

Green Team: Help us take care of our gardens and outdoor spaces, one Saturday per month.

Room Parents

Room parents play a very important role in our school in ensuring our students and families stay connected to each other, and our teachers have the support they need to help our children grow as learners.

SSC: School Site Council

Meetings happen once a month. Links and location info sent via ParentSquare. All school community members are welcome to join SSC meetings.

The elected members of the SSC represent parents, students, community members, and school staff. By state law, the SSC must oversee the site based budgeting of categorical funds and the development and monitoring of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). 

Site English Language Learner

Federal Education Code requires schools with 21 or more English Language Learners (ELL) to establish a school level advisory committee composed primarily of parents of ELLs to provide the following:

  1. Advise the school site council (SSC) on the development of the School Plan for Student Achievement.
  2. Advise the principal and staff on the school’s program for English learners.
  3. Assist in the development of the school’s needs assessment
  4. Help to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance
